What phase of your life comes in mind when you see cartoons? Childhood– right! And what about first-love, first-kiss, heartbreaks, friendships, fights? Well i’d say teenage!
Love is one hell of a weird thing! And teenage love… its kind of lovely itself! You simply come across someone, find them striking or cute or ‘my type‘ and then start thinking of them every single second. I think every teenager do this to some extent — tossing and turning on bed imagining ‘so soon to take place’ conversations and smiling all to themselves, or scribbling names and decorating with hearts and lots. And that crippled feeling you get when things get tangled leading to mistrusts and finally breakup, not just in love but also in friendships, is really unbearable. crying all over the pillow, talking to moon and then you find yourself to be a romantic poet!
We all have experienced this. Waiting to see that one face everyday, wandering aimlessly to get noticed, stealing glances, sneaking peeks and looking for a common friend. Oh, and what about letters! Not everyone has personal cellphones and so our little letters are damn useful. Have you ever cut a secret pocket in your bag?! Or sneaked out of the house?
First-love feelings, still wanting to be with them after breakup, stupid advises and silly therapies of friends, love songs, butterflies in stomach, fluttery heart, weak legs and goofy smile all the time are common in this age. And thinking about all this brings a real big smile on my face.
From tension filled mind to warm heart and teary eyes to jaw cracking laugh, Teenage life is a real weird and beautiful thing. ❤
